About New England Ladder
New England Ladder Corp. was founded in 2013 as a small regional dealer of Hasegawa tripod ladders with about 20 independent dealers. In 2016, the owner of New England Ladder Corp. decided that it was time to move on. At that time, Richard Schwerer, an employee of one of their dealers with more than 25 years of experience in the re-wholesale landscape supply industry, realized that Hasegawa tripod ladders were not your typical orchard ladder. They were actually a hybrid and without a doubt, the safest tripod ladder in the industry. In late 2016, Schwerer purchased New England Ladder Corp., and soon put together a business plan and a three-person sales team consisting of Schwerer, Jim Carlson and Evan Eisenberg. This team had a combined 85 years of experience in the landscape industry. Starting with approximately 20 regional dealers in the Northeast, the company experienced steady growth and became Hasegawa’s primary distributor on the East Coast. In the fall of 2017, Hasegawa Kogyo Co., Ltd. partnered with New England Ladder Corp. to be the sole distributor of Hasegawa tripod pruning ladders in the U.S. Today, we have more than 700 Hasegawa tripod ladder dealers servicing the entire country. Our dealer network is supported by our New York, Georgia and Oregon warehouses. Our ladders are sold through our dealer network and are the #1 choice of industry professionals.
